From Telegram to a Facebook post
Connecting a Telegram bot, an AI writing step and Facebook publishing in one content workflow.

- Facebook API
My role
I connected the services, defined the writing instructions and configured conversational context. Telegram, Gemini and Facebook provide the messaging, generation and publishing capabilities.
The problem
Short ideas often start in a message, while publishing happens elsewhere. I wanted to connect those steps so an idea could become a consistent post without repeatedly copying text between tools.
How it works
An idea arrives through a Telegram bot
n8n passes the idea and recent context to Gemini
Gemini drafts a short conversational post
The workflow connects the text to Facebook publishing
Technical decisions
Start where the idea is captured
Telegram is the entry point. The workflow accepts the raw idea there and passes it to the writing step.
Define the writing brief
The instructions specify a short, conversational Facebook post without hashtags. A window of recent conversation supplies context for follow-up messages.
Connect generation and delivery
n8n coordinates the integrations. Drafting and publishing are distinct steps in the process, even when connected in the same workflow.
Outcome and limitations
The integration connects idea capture, AI-assisted writing and a publishing destination. The writing brief sets a consistent style while the integrations handle moving the text between tools.
A dedicated human approval step remains an improvement for this integration. Generated text needs editorial review, and permissions, API failures and duplicate delivery must be considered before using a publishing workflow for a live account.
